LASUED 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Details
The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Oto/Ijanikin, with a campus at Odo-Noforija, Epe, has officially announced the commencement of its online Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university has called on all suitably qualified candidates who wish to gain admission into its diverse undergraduate programmes to complete their registration between Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 and Sunday, 31st August, 2025.
According to information released by the Registrar, Akinfemiwa Opeoluwa, candidates are advised to visit the university’s official website at www.lasued.edu.ng for detailed guidelines on the application process and to upload all required credentials online.
Eligibility for LASUED Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening
LASUED has outlined specific eligibility requirements for candidates seeking admission into its various programmes:
- UTME Candidates: Applicants who selected LASUED as their first choice in the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 170 are eligible to apply. In addition, candidates must have the required O’Level credits relevant to their chosen programmes, as specified in the JAMB brochure.
- Direct Entry Candidates: All Direct Entry applicants, particularly holders of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), who selected LASUED as their first choice during the 2025/2026 JAMB Direct Entry exercise, are also eligible.
- Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old as of 31st October, 2025.
- Applicants must have uploaded their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal on or before 24th August, 2025 to be considered for admission.
Admission Requirements
To qualify for admission, candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
- Possess at least five (5) credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, GCE O’Level, or their equivalents.
- Have a minimum UTME score of 170 in the 2025 examination.

Application Procedure
Prospective candidates are required to visit the LASUED official website at www.lasued.edu.ng to complete their online registration and make payment for the screening exercise. Candidates are strongly advised not to pay money to individuals or unofficial accounts, as the university will not be held liable for such transactions.
Direct Entry candidates must also submit a copy of their online screening report along with their notification of NCE, ND, or Diploma results to the university’s Admission Office for further processing.
