Lagos City Polytechnic Admission Form 2025/2026: How to Apply

Are you planning to further your education at a reputable polytechnic in Nigeria? The Lagos City Polytechnic Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is now officially available. Prospective students can begin the application process for admission into various National Diploma (ND) and part-time programmes offered by one of Lagos State’s leading private polytechnics.

Available Programmes and Admission Routes

Lagos City Polytechnic (LCP) offers a range of full-time and part-time programmes across various disciplines. Whether you sat for the 2025 UTME or wish to explore direct applications, there are pathways for everyone.

Admission into Full-Time ND Programmes

If you’re interested in pursuing a National Diploma (ND) on a full-time basis, you must have participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, even if you did not initially select Lagos City Polytechnic as your institution of choice, there’s still an opportunity for you to secure admission.

Steps to Change Institution to Lagos City Polytechnic

  • Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre nearest to you.
  • Request a change of institution and choose Lagos City Polytechnic as your first choice.
  • Print your JAMB result slip and the Change of Institution slip as evidence.
  • Proceed to LCP’s campus in Ikeja for further admission processing.

Changing your institution increases your chances of securing a place at LCP and ensures you’re considered during the school’s admission exercise.

Admission for Part-Time and Non-JAMB Candidates

Not everyone wishes to pursue full-time studies. For those who prefer flexible study schedules or who did not participate in JAMB, Lagos City Polytechnic offers excellent part-time options. Here’s how to apply:

  • Begin your application online or visit the Polytechnic campus to obtain your form.
  • Print your application confirmation slip.
  • Visit the Admissions Office for guidance on the next steps.
