• Possession of at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects, including Mathematics and English Language, obtained in not more than two sittings.
• UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 170 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, certain courses require higher cut-off marks:
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology: 200 and above
  • Nursing and Radiography: 210 and above
  • Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): 220 and above
  • Medicine and Surgery (MBBS): 230 and above
• Direct Entry candidates must hold a minimum of Merit or Lower Credit grade in relevant qualifications.
• All applicants must have chosen Federal University of Lafia as their first choice institution.

Important Dates and Registration Fee

According to the university, registration for the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening will begin on July 21, 2025 and will close on August 22, 2025. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000 to complete their application process.

How to Register for FULAFIA Post-UTME 2025/2026

Follow the step-by-step guide below for a successful registration:

1. Visit the university’s official admission portal via https://my.fulafia.edu.ng/.
2. Click on the “APPLY” button to create a new account.
3. Choose “Post UTME Application 2025/2026” from the application options.
4. Provide your JAMB Registration Number, a valid email address, and choose a secure password. Click on “Proceed.” The page will automatically redirect you to a login page.
5. On the login page, input the same email and password you used during account creation and click “Proceed.”
6. A unique identification number starting with “FULUG…” will appear. Note this ID and replace your email with this unique ID for subsequent logins.
7. Verify the personal details displayed on your portal dashboard. Update any missing biodata and click “Save.”
8. Proceed to payment for the screening exercise.

Payment Options

FULAFIA offers several convenient payment channels for applicants:

• Online Card Payment: Use your Mastercard or any other accepted debit/credit card. Enter card details including number, expiry date, and CVV, and click on “Pay.”
• Bank Branch Payment: Print the generated invoice and proceed to any commercial bank nationwide for payment.
• USSD Banking: Dial the appropriate code for your bank, such as:

  • Fidelity Bank: *770*000*Your RRR#
• Internet Banking: Select your bank from the dropdown on the Remita platform and follow the prompts to complete your transaction.
• E-Wallet: You can pay using your Paga account.

Important Note: All payments must originate from the university’s Management Information System (MIS) portal. Remita Retrieval References (RRR) not generated through the portal will not be recognized, and such payments may hinder successful registration.

If you choose to pay online, you will be redirected back to your application portal upon successful payment, enabling you to continue your registration immediately. However, candidates who pay via bank branches or other offline methods must log back into the portal to confirm their payment status before proceeding.

Verification of O’Level Results

Applicants are required to verify their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) through the portal before final submission. Ensure all result details are accurate and properly uploaded.

Final Steps After Payment

After completing payment and uploading your credentials:

• Navigate back to the portal homepage.
• Refresh the page to confirm that your payment has been acknowledged.
• Print the summary of your application form as well as the payment receipt for your records.
• Wait for further communication from the university regarding screening dates and admission updates.

Special Notice for Remedial and IJMB Students

Students who have completed Remedial or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programmes at FULAFIA must also participate in the Post-UTME/DE screening exercise to qualify for admission into degree programmes.
