Kaduna Polytechnic, one of the foremost institutions of higher learning in Nigeria, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates seeking admission into National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), and B.Tech programmes are hereby invited to apply as the screening begins on 22nd July 2025.
About Kaduna Polytechnic
Established in 1956, Kaduna Polytechnic is a federal polytechnic located in Kaduna State, Nigeria. The institution offers various technical, science, and management courses and is well known for its practical-based approach to tertiary education. It comprises several colleges, including Engineering, Science and Technology, Environmental Studies, and Administrative Studies.
Eligibility Criteria
The following categories of candidates are eligible to participate in the screening exercise:
- First Choice Candidates: Candidates who chose Kaduna Polytechnic as their first choice institution in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 100.
- Interested Applicants (Change of Institution): Candidates who did not initially choose Kaduna Polytechnic but are interested in studying there and scored at least 100 in the UTME.
Note: Candidates in category 2 must complete a Change of Institution to Kaduna Polytechnic on the official JAMB portal at www.jamb.gov.ng before proceeding with the application.

Kaduna Polytechnic offers admission into a wide range of ND, NCE, and B.Tech programmes across various schools. Candidates can apply for courses in the following areas:

Application Procedure
Candidates have two options for completing their registration:
1. On-Campus Registration
Candidates residing within Kaduna and nearby areas are advised to visit the Kaduna Polytechnic ICT Centre for smooth and assisted online registration. This is especially useful for those who may have challenges accessing the internet.
2. Online Registration via Portal
To apply from anywhere in Nigeria, candidates can follow the steps below:
- Visit the Kaduna Polytechnic admission portal at www.kadunapoly.edu.ng.
- Click on the “Admission” tab and select “Post-UTME Screening.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number to begin the application.
- Fill in all required personal and academic details accurately.
- Upload your passport photograph and relevant documents (e.g., O’Level results).
- Make payment of the screening fee of N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only) using the available online payment options.
- After successful payment, print your application slip for reference.
Important Notice for All Candidates
All candidates, especially those applying for ND and B.Tech programmes, are strongly advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal through any JAMB-accredited CBT centre. Failure to do this will result in automatic disqualification as the school will not be able to process such applications.
